Winning Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $10,000 sold in Texas

A winning Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $10,000 was sold in Texas for the January 6 drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at a local convenience store in Texas. The store will receive a bonus of $100 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning numbers were: 20, 29, 30, 52, and 58 with the Mega Ball 19. And the winning ticket was able to match four of the five winning numbers along with the Mega Ball. 

The next drawing is set for Feb. 14 with a jackpot of $67 million which has a cash value of $35.1 million.

Mega Millions is an American multijurisdictional lottery game, it is offered in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Mega Millions is drawn at 11 pm Eastern Time on Tuesday and Friday evenings, including holidays.
