Virginia Man Wins $100,000 by Purchasing 20 Identical Lottery Tickets

Fekru Hirpo, a resident of Alexandria, Virginia, hit the jackpot after purchasing 20 identical lottery tickets with the same numbers.

He bought the tickets from a gas station in Arlington for the "Pick 4" game. Each ticket contained the four-digit combination of 2-5-2-7, and each won him a prize of 100,000.

Hirpo said that he doesn't usually buy so many tickets with identical numbers, but he had a gut feeling to go all-in on the same ticket.

He had no immediate plans for his winnings, according to the Virginia Lottery.

This is a rare instance of someone winning big by putting all their eggs in one basket. Hirpo's decision to purchase identical tickets definitely paid off, and he is now $100,000 richer.
