Unclaimed Lottery Fortunes: Winners of Major Prizes in Minnesota Urged to Come Forward

The Minnesota Lottery reports that individuals holding lottery tickets with substantial prizes, sold in Rochester and various locations across the state, have yet to step forward. These tickets were purchased for drawings held last month, and one fortunate local lottery player secured their winning ticket at a Hy-Vee store in Rochester.

Notably, this Powerball ticket is among two significant lottery wins in southeast Minnesota from last year that remain unclaimed. One of the $1 million winning tickets from the Minnesota Millionaire raffle, sold in the Northfield area at the Kwik Trip in Dundas, still awaits its winner. Another $1 million prize from the same raffle, sold at Coborn’s in Delano, has also gone unclaimed.

Adding to the list of unclaimed prizes, a Gopher 5 Ticket worth $222,000, purchased on New Year’s Day at a convenience store in Silver Lake, remains unclaimed. The lottery encourages individuals to check their tickets and come forward to claim their winnings.
