UK National Lottery Player Claims £46.2 Million Share of Euromillions Jackpot

In the latest Euromillions draw held on May 5, a lucky UK National Lottery player has emerged as the winner of a staggering £46.2 million share of the £138 million jackpot.

Alongside players in France and Switzerland, this fortunate individual now holds a life-changing sum. The winning numbers for the draw were 03, 08, 18, 34, and 49, with Lucky Stars 03 and 07.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at the National Lottery, expressed his excitement about the news, stating that they are thrilled to have received a claim. The focus now shifts to supporting the ticket-holder throughout the validation process and assisting them in embracing their newfound wealth.

Although this win is significant, it falls short of the record for Britain's largest EuroMillions prize, which stands at £195 million and was claimed by an anonymous winner in July of the previous year. Prior to that, the UK record belonged to Joe and Jess Thwaite, a couple from Gloucestershire who won £184 million in May 2022.
