Two Maryland Lottery Players Win $100K Each in Big Week of Prizes

Big wins were popping up across Maryland last week, with two lucky players each scoring a $100,000 prize — one from a scratch-off ticket in Baltimore and another from a Fast Play game in Cumberland.

? By the Numbers

  • 41 winning tickets paid out $10,000 or more
  • Nearly $30.2 million was awarded in prizes statewide during the week of June 8–14
  • Two players landed the week's top prize of $100,000

Several other players also enjoyed major payouts. A Baltimore resident won $57,777 on a Lucky 7s Tripler scratch-off ticket, while eight additional $50,000 prizes were claimed on tickets sold in Bethesda, Bowie, Gaithersburg, La Plata, Odenton, Sykesville, and Wheaton.

Players who win more than $25,000 must claim their prizes through the lottery’s Customer Resource Center in Baltimore. Smaller prizes can be redeemed at participating casino cashier windows or authorized cashing locations, depending on the amount.

? Since launching in 1973, the Maryland Lottery has awarded more than $35.5 billion in prizes and contributed over $20.7 billion to support programs across the state.
