Two $100,000 Lotto Max Extra prizes unclaimed in Alberta

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) has announced that two individuals who purchased Lotto Max tickets in Alberta are now $100,000 richer, but they only have until April 1, 2023, to claim their winnings.

One of the tickets was sold in Edmonton, while the other was sold outside of Edmonton and Calgary.

If the winners do not come forward before the deadline, the prize money will be forfeited and returned to the players through guaranteed jackpots and bonus draws for national games.

For regional games, unclaimed prizes are returned to the member provinces and territories as revenue.

The WCLC is urging anyone who purchased Lotto Max tickets for the April 1, 2022 draw to check their tickets as soon as possible to see if they are the lucky winners.
