Toronto Gives Fans Another Shot at FIFA World Cup Tickets

Missed out on tickets through FIFA’s massive lottery? You’re not alone. More than 150 million fans jumped in during a 15-day window, and a lot of people walked away empty-handed.

But here’s the good news — Toronto is giving fans another shot.

The FIFA World Cup is almost here, and the City of Toronto just announced a special ticket lottery just for Ontario residents 18 and older. If you win, you’ll score an invitation for two people to attend a World Cup match in Toronto.

  • 26 pairs of invitations

  • 2 pairs include Canada’s opening match in Toronto on Friday, June 12

  • An early bird draw for a chance at tickets to that big Canada match

To enter, you’ll need to buy into the draw:

  • $26 = 5 entries

  • $50 = 10 entries

  • $150 = 50 entries

  • $260 = 100 entries

And here’s a fun bonus:
Anyone who goes for the $260 package also gets a premium World Cup scarf mailed out after the draw.

The tournament itself kicks off on June 11 and runs through July 19, with matches spread across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. In Canada, games will be held in Toronto and Vancouver — Vancouver will host seven matches, while Toronto will host six.
