Toledo-area resident won $1 Million prize in Toledo

A Toledo-area resident named Tricia Moyer chose the annuity prize’s $500,000 cash-option equivalent before taxes, the lottery said in its announcement this week.

Ms. Moyer's win was a second-tier prize in the Ohio Lottery’s $30 Max the Money scratch-off, the lottery reported.

Ms. Moyer purchased her winning ticket at S&G, 4001 N. Holland-Sylvania Avenue at the intersection of Sylvania Avenue in Sylvania Township.

She could not be reached for immediate comment.

"I personally don't know the person, but I am very happy for that person," store manager Elizabeth Burgos said Tuesday.

"Our customers have been speaking about that today," Ms. Burgos said of the $1 million annuity prize being sold at the store. "Customers are hearing about it."
