Three big-money Powerball tickets in South Carolina are about to expire — and time is almost up to cash in.
The South Carolina Education Lottery says these winning tickets, bought in early September 2025, are still unclaimed. If no one steps forward soon, that cash will go straight to the state’s Education Lottery Account to help fund schools.
Here’s what’s still out there:
-
?? $50,000 ticket purchased September 9, 2025 at Hot Spot in Greer
-
?? $50,000 ticket purchased September 3, 2025 at A Plus in Goose Creek
-
?? $100,000 ticket purchased September 6, 2025 at Cheapway #16 in Columbia
All three tickets matched four white-ball numbers plus the red Powerball. The Columbia winner added PowerPlay, doubling the prize from $50,000 to a cool $100,000.
? Claim Deadlines Are Right Around the Corner
Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize. These tickets are hitting that deadline now.
To collect, players need to visit the Columbia Claims Center before 4 p.m. on the expiration date. If mailing the ticket, the envelope must be postmarked by the deadline.
If you bought a Powerball ticket in South Carolina last September, now’s the time to double-check those numbers — you could be sitting on a life-changing payout.
