Tampa Woman Wins $1 Million Powerball Prize from Florida Lottery

A lucky resident of Riverview, Florida, Beverly Sewell, has won a whopping $1 million prize from the Powerball drawing held on November 5, 2022, according to an announcement made by the Florida Lottery on Friday.

Even though Sewell's ticket did not match the Powerball number, it did manage to match all five of the white ball numbers, leading to her huge win.

Sewell purchased her winning ticket from the Publix store located at 5052 North US Highway 1 in Apollo Beach, which will also receive a $1,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket.

The Florida Lottery has not yet disclosed what Sewell plans to do with her prize money.
