Take 5 lottery ticket worth $25K sold on Staten Island

A top-prize winning TAKE 5 ticket valued at more than $12,000 was recently sold on Staten Island.

The New York Lottery announced that a jackpot-prize winning ticket worth $12,176.50 was sold as part of the TAKE 5 evening drawing Thursday.

The ticket was purchased from Lin’s Liquor and Wine LLC located at 645-101B Rossville Ave. in Rossville.

Two additional top-prize winning tickets were sold at Ralph Avenue Liquor Store Inc. at 223 Ralph Ave. in Brooklyn and Blue Hill Food Mart at 2436 Route 52 in Hopewell Junction.

The winning numbers for the Thursday, May 18, TAKE 5 evening drawing were 6, 15, 28, 31, and 34. TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a range of 1 to 39. In order to take home the TAKE 5 jackpot, the five numbers on your ticket must match the winning five-number draw. One game of TAKE 5 costs $1.

The TAKE 5 drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m.
