Southington Resident kick starts his week with a lottery win of $20,000, the winner started his lucky monday with getting $20k times richer than before. 

The ticket was purchased at the Southington Price Chopper store, which is located 410 Queen St., said lottery officials.

That's not a bad investment, considering playing the drawing game costs a minimum of $2 to play, not including prize multiplier options.

The winner has not yet came forward to claim the lottery prize, more information will be released once the lottery ticket is claimed. 

The winner has a total of 180 days to claim the lottery ticket, after that the lottery ticket will expire and won't be claimed.
