Someone in North Carolina won a lottery of $100,000 due to Propane tank, the winner was out to buy a propane tank for his grill when he also bought a lottery ticket.
William Jones who is 32 years old of Richlands, drove to the store to buy a propane tank for his grill and, deciding to try his luck on a scratch-off, bagged a $100,000 win.
Jones, a turkey farmer, bought his lucky $100 Million Mega Cash ticket from the Speedway on South Jackson Street in Beulaville.
“I tell you what, it was worth the $20,” Jones laughed.
He opted for the option of one time lump sum and took home $71,016 after required taxes.
“I think I’ll go ahead and pay for our wedding,” Jones said.
