Santa Rosa man wins $5 million worth jackpot in a Florida Lottery scratch-off game

Bernard Waters, who is 63 years old, of Milton won the $5 million prize from the $20 Monopoly Doubler scratch-off game.

He purchased the winning lottery ticket from the S Food Mart Three, LLC, 6025 Stewart St., in Milton.

It was an unbelievable moment for the winner to see $5 million ticket, he never expected that he could ever win this big. 

The winner has shared on plans on how he will be spending the lottery amount, also he chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment and took home $3,994,698 after taxes.

The retailer will also receive some bonus for selling the winning lottery ticket.
