Rio Grande Valley woman won $100,000 jackpot in Texas Lottery

Rio Grande Valley woman won $100,000 jackpot in Texas Lottery, the winner will soon be $100,000 times richer than before. 

The Starr County woman bought the winning $5 scratch-off from The Country Store 1, at 115 H and H Drive in Rio Grande City, and the ticket sold in Hidalgo County was bought at Mini Max 1, at 17523 Sabal Palm Drive in Penitas. 

The two lucky winners won $100,000 jackpot each. 

Rio Grande City, the local community has already been talking as the convenience store has seen a rise in customers since the prize was claimed.

Winning lottery ticket has not been claimed yet, more information will be released once the lottery ticket is claimed. 

The winner has 180 days from the day of draw to claim there lottery prize, afterwards the lottery ticket will expire and won't be claimed.
