Private syndicate in Sunshine won life changing lottery prize

Seven Sunshine Coast shoppers have had a weekend they’ll never forget after their Saturday Gold Lotto syndicate pocketed a $2 million prize on the weekend.

The store syndicate held one of the 15 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4375 on Saturday 24 June 2023. Each division one winning entry pocketed $2 million.

In addition to scoring division one, the syndicate’s System 8 QuickPick entry also scored division three 12 times and Division four 15 times, bolstering the group’s total windfall to $2,011,125.05.

Each syndicate member receives a share worth $287,303.58.

However, some syndicate members may have yet to discover their winning news, prompting lottery officials to encourage players in the region to check their Saturday Gold Lotto tickets today.

Entries into the winning store syndicate were sold at Cotton Tree News, 1/9 King Street, Maroochydore.

The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he encouraged all players who purchased a Saturday Gold Lotto syndicate entry to check their tickets.
