Pennsylvania Cash 5 Winner Scores $1.6 Million Jackpot

A winning Cash 5 ticket worth $1.6 million was sold in Schuylkill County, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Tuesday.

The jackpot was $3.2 million and will be shared with the holder of a ticket purchased in Fayette County.

This was the largest Cash 5 with Quick Cash jackpot in the game's 31-year history, according to the lottery.

Each jackpot-winning ticket matched all five balls drawn Monday, 5-10-12-20-25, to win individual prizes of $1.6 million less applicable withholding.

The winning tickets were sold by Turkey Hill, 1638 Centre St., Ashland, and Valero Fuel N Go, Uniontown. Each retailer earns a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets. A main Cash 5 game prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.

Anyone holding a jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket should contact the nearest Lottery office for further instructions or call 1-800-692-7481.
