Palmetto State Gas Station Sells $1 Million Winning Powerball Ticket

Monday night's Powerball drawing didn't produce a jackpot winner, but there's excitement in the Palmetto State as someone snagged a seven-figure prize.

South Carolina Education Lottery officials revealed that a $1,000,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold at a gas station in Aiken County.

The search is now on to find the lucky winner. The ticket, just one number away from the grand prize, was purchased at the Windsor Shell gas station/convenience store on Charleston Highway.

It matched all five white ball numbers from Monday's draw: 39, 41, 43, 49, and 64, with a Powerball of 4.

The winner has 180 days to claim their prize, according to lottery officials.
