North Salem resident won $5 million in New York lottery, the winner will soon be $5 million times richer than before.
The winning scratch off lottery ticket was purchased at BP, a gas station and convenience store located on Route 22 in Brewster.
Richard Bossi from North Salem claimed his winning prize, it was his first ever win to win this big jackpot.
The winner decided to get his winnings as a one time lump sum payment and took home $3,255,000 after required withholdings.
Nevertheless, stores get to proudly post official signs announcing that they had sold a “winner.”
