North Carolina woman’s $1 lottery ticket turned into a jackpot of $750,000, the winner received a big prize and is $750k times richer than before. 

When I realized it, I just started hollering,” McCain told lottery officials, according to a news release. “I was feeling so good I couldn’t even go back to sleep.”

McCain, who is 54 Years old , said her strategy of picking numbers that have significance to her paid off. 

McCain decided to get her winning as a one time lump sum and took home $537,093 from lottery headquarters in Raleigh on Friday, Aug. 26.

“I can finally get my dream home,” McCain told lottery officials. “Now I can have something I can call my own.”
