Scott Gullickson had to blink twice — then adjust his glasses — when he realized his $50 scratch-off was worth $100,000.

The Summerfield man, who picked up the ticket at Quick Snack in Greensboro, said he always felt a win was coming. “I really believed one day it would happen,” he told lottery officials.
