North Carolina lottery scratch-off ticket made someone $2 million times richer than before, it's a fortunate for a player to win such a big prize.
Ricky Futrell of Richlands bought a $20 scratch-off ticket from the Speedway on Richlands Highway in Richlands, according to a Monday morning news release from the NC Education Lottery.
We can say that he just invested $20 and won a big prize of $2 million which can change his and his families conditions.
I’m shaking,” Futrell said in the release. “It’s overwhelming.”
Futrell had the option of choosing an annuity of $100,000 a year for 20 years, or a lump sum of $1.2 million. He chose the $1.2 million cash prize and took home $852,126 after required state and federal tax withholdings.
