New Jersey Sells Four Third-Prize Powerball Tickets, Valued up to $100,000

In a stroke of fortune, New Jersey has produced four third-prize Powerball winners, with prizes ranging from $50,000 to $100,000.

The $100,000-winning ticket, purchased at Krauszer's Food Store in Bloomfield, was doubly fortunate due to the Power Play option chosen by the winner for an extra $1.

The remaining three tickets were sold at ShopRite in Bayonne, RS Foodmart & Deli in Milltown, and Quick Stop in Clifton, each valued at $50,000.

All four tickets matched four numbers along with the Powerball from Wednesday's drawing, which featured the winning numbers 9, 11, 17, 19, and 55. The Powerball draw was 1, with a Power Play of 2X.

Although the massive $239 million jackpot went unclaimed across the nation in Wednesday's drawing, a $1 million second-prize ticket was snapped up in Massachusetts. As anticipation builds, the upcoming Powerball drawing on Saturday is estimated to offer a whopping $264 million jackpot, with a cash option of $127.1 million awaiting one lucky winner.
