New Bern man bought a $5 lottery ticket and won $267,513 lottery amount, he wants to help the refugees with the amount that he won. 

Ner Wah who is 35 years old, said that he is planning to use a portion of his Fast Play jackpot winnings worth $267,513 to help refugees in Burma, a news release states.

Wah have lived in a refugee camp for 10 years before he immigrated to the U.S. 15 years ago, therefore he wants to help the people who really need this money.

Wah bought his lottery ticket at Klo Htoo Asian Market on Neuse Boulevard in New Bern. 

He was feeling anxious before the results came out and he thought maybe he will a $50 or something but did not expect such a large amount.
