Nebraska Lottery Player Wins Small but Celebrates Big

Torry Nielsen, a resident of Lincoln, Nebraska, decided to take a chance on the lottery and purchased a Wild Cherry Crossword Doubler ticket for US$5 (CND$6.76).

After playing the scratch-and-win game, he discovered that he had won a modest amount of US$10 (CND$13.51).

Although it was not a huge sum, he wanted to celebrate his win in a big way. So, he contacted Nebraska Lottery to ask if he could be presented with a big cheque for his winnings.

The organization was thrilled with Nielsen's request and shared his heartwarming story on Twitter, saying "Oh, heck yea you can." This proves that sometimes it's the small wins in life that bring the most joy.
