Monmouth County's Luck Strikes Again when someone won $1 Million Powerball Ticket

A fortunate individual in New Jersey struck gold with a $1 million Powerball ticket in the recent lottery drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven convenience store located on Route 35 in Holmdel, Monmouth County, as confirmed by lottery officials.

Interestingly, this $1 million prize was one of two second-prize tickets sold across the country, matching five numbers but not the Powerball. The other second-prize ticket was sold in California.

Unfortunately, the $32.1 million jackpot remained unclaimed as no one across the country managed to match all the winning numbers.

As a result, the top prize for the upcoming Wednesday drawing is estimated to be a tempting $41 million, with a cash option of approximately $21.2 million.
