Michigan Woman Follows Lucky Feeling, Wins $1 Million on Scratch-off Ticket

A woman from Michigan had a stroke of luck while watching TV with her husband and decided to buy a few lottery tickets. She purchased a $10 The Big Spin scratch-off from R & N Fast Track in Taylor and waited until they got home to scratch it.

To her amazement, she won the top prize of $1 million. Overwhelmed with joy, she had her husband and daughter verify the ticket.

Her winning lottery ticket including a $10 The Big Spin scratch-off, was bought at R & N Fast Track in Taylor, about 15 miles southwest of downtown. 

48-year-old mom had to choose between 30 annual payments of the full $1 million or a one-time lump-sum payment of approximately $693,000.

She opted for the latter and is planning to use the money to buy a new home and save for the future.
