Meriden woman wins a big jackpot recently in scratch off lottery game

A Meriden man won $25,000 playing the CT Lottery. Tomas Cedeno won playing Electric 7s 2nd Ed.

He purchased the lucky ticket Friday at H & H Mart in Meriden. The CT Lottery furnishes winner information as public record.

There are still 3 top prizes of $177,777 left in Electric 7s 2nd Ed. The player's overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.56, according to the CT Lottery.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.

They also announced that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity.
