Mega Millions lottery tickets sold across US

The Mega Millions jackpot soared to more than $1 billion after no one won Friday's top prize of $940 million.

And while no big winner came from Friday's drawing, a ticket worth $1 million was sold on the Upper West Side, according to lottery officials. The numbers drawn late Friday were 5, 10, 28, 52, and 63. The gold Mega Ball was 18.

The winning New York ticket matched all five white balls, making it worth $1 million, according to the Mega Millions website.

In New York, the winning ticket was sold at Millennium Smoke, located at 2345 Broadway, according to a report citing the New York Lottery.

Other big winners included a $5 million ticket sold in Pennsylvania, meaning the ticket matched all five white balls plus the Megaplier option.

Tickets worth $1 million were also sold in Pennsylvania, California, and Arizona, lottery officials said.

Across the country, 92 tickets matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball to win the third-tier prize. Fourteen tickets are worth $50,000 each because they included the optional Megaplier. The other 78 won $10,000 each.
