Massachusetts woman won Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1 million

A lucky woman from Massachusetts named Davena Allen won Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1 million from the Jan. 10 Mega Millions jackpot drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at a Wegmans grocery store located in Chestnut Hill. The store will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winner matched the first five numbers on her ticket to win this huge amount.

She now plans to renovate her house with the winning amount and travel with her family. 

Mega Millions is an American multijurisdictional lottery game, it is offered in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Mega Millions is drawn at 11 pm Eastern Time on Tuesday and Friday evenings, including holidays.
