A lucky woman from Mason City named Jessica Chambers won a whopping sum of $300,000 playing Iowa Lottery’s "Colossal Crossword" scratch game.
The winning ticket was sold at Northside Liquor on North Federal Avenue in Mason City. The store will receive a bonus of $3,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.
She claimed her prize Tuesday (01.31) at lottery headquarters in Clive.
The winner plans to renovate her house with the winning amount and pay bills with the rest.
