Maryland Lottery Players Cash In Big as Holiday Raffle Ends

Thousands of Maryland Lottery players are starting the new year with a win — and one lucky ticket just created a brand-new millionaire.

The Maryland Lottery wrapped up its Holiday Raffle after selling more than 237,000 tickets between November 3 and early January. From that pool, over 10,000 winning numbers were randomly drawn, spreading cash prizes across the state.

? The Biggest Win

  • $1 million grand prize

  • Winning ticket number: 136188

  • Sold on December 8 at a 7-Eleven in Pikesville

? Six-Figure Winners

Ten tickets scored $100,000 each, with wins popping up all over Maryland, including Baltimore County, Prince George’s County, Montgomery County, Harford County, Allegany County, and Worcester County. Two of those winning tickets were even sold on January 1, making New Year’s Day extra memorable for a pair of players.

? Thousands of Other Prizes

  • 10,000 additional tickets won prizes ranging from $50 to $500

  • A wide spread of smaller wins helped make this one of the most rewarding Holiday Raffles yet

? Early Bird Bonus Winners

Before the main drawing, three $50,000 Early Bird prizes were already claimed:

  • A Washington, D.C. resident

  • A Baltimore food service worker

  • A retired government employee from Charles County

With big jackpots, six-figure wins, and thousands of smaller prizes, Maryland Lottery players had plenty of reasons to celebrate heading into the new year.
