Madison resident is now $100K richer in lottery draw

A lucky Madison resident won a big lottery prize worth $100,000 this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket this week that was purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

An unnamed resident claimed a winning CASH5 ticket that was bought at Henny Penny on Boston Post Road.

According to the lottery officials, the Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as a public record

The pari-mutuel game, which costs $1 per wager, has a top prize of $100,000.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters. The player can also have the facility of calling or sending mail to start the claiming process.
