Lucky Rock Hill man woke up to discover $300K in his bank

A Rock Hill man won $300,000 off a Carolina Cash lottery ticket. He purchased his lucky voucher at the York Mart on South Anderson Road.

In a hurry, he scratched off the barcode at the bottom of the ticket, and once he put it under the ticket checker, the message read “Claim at Lottery.”

That’s when he decided to scratch the whole card.

The winner talked to the lottery official.

“It was breathtaking,” he said when he saw how much it was worth.

“I’m investing it.” The York Mart received a $3,000 commission for selling the claimed ticket.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters. The player can also have the facility of calling or sending mail to start the claiming process.
