Lucky for Life winner in Connecticut purchased winning ticket at Greenwich smoke shop

Connecticut's first Lucky for Life winner for 2023 purchased the winning ticket from the Byram Smoke Shop in Greenwich. 

The winning ticket was sold at Byram Smoke Shop, the Connecticut Lottery reported. The store will receive a bonus of $3,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The numbers were drawn on Saturday: 4, 7, 15, 17, 30 with a lucky ball of 5.

winning ticket entitles the holder to receive $365,000 a year for life, which is payable for the length of the winner's natural life.

The Connecticut Lottery guarantees at least 20 years' worth of payments, with the potential for payments to continue based on the lifespan of the winner.

The annuity prize option guarantees a minimum payment of $7.3 million, while the cash option is valued at $5.75 million.

The winner's identity has yet to be revealed, but the smoke shop that sold the winning ticket is celebrating their part in making someone's dreams come true.
