Lottery ticket worth more than $300,000 sold out at Santa clara
A lottery ticket sold at a Santa Clara liquor store turned into $338,484 for a lucky winner Tuesday night.
Playing the Fantasy 5 ticket through the California Lottery, one person matched all five numbers to win the grand prize worth north of one-quarter of $1 million.
The numbers were 3, 11, 26, 29 and 37. The card was purchased at Save Max Food & Liquor on 1191 El Camino Real. The winner did not come forward as of Wednesday morning. They have 180 days to do so.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money.
