Life Changing Discovery: Massachusetts Resident Finds $1 Million Lottery Ticket During House Cleaning

Routine house cleaning sessions can sometimes lead to pleasant surprises, and for a Massachusetts resident, it was nothing short of life-changing.

In what can only be described as an extraordinary turn of events, the resident stumbled upon a $1 million lottery ticket hidden in his own home.

Several months ago, Khalil Soussa had purchased a $15 million Money Maker scratch ticket.

He shared with the Massachusetts Lottery that his house cleaner made a remarkable discovery, finding the ticket in a vase in Soussa's Medford residence.

The twist? It turned out to be a $1 million winner. Soussa chose to receive a lump-sum cash payment, which amounted to $650,000 before taxes.

The winning ticket was originally purchased at Tony's Convenience, situated on Salem Street in Medford. For their role in selling the winning ticket, the store's owners will be receiving a $10,000 bonus from the lottery.
