Keene Store Sells $1 Million Winning Powerball Ticket for Saturday's Drawing
Keene, New Hampshire, is abuzz with excitement as news broke that a $1 million winning Powerball ticket was sold at the T-Bird Mini Mart on West Street for Saturday's Powerball drawing. The ticket successfully matched five winning numbers: 11, 19, 29, 63, and 68. However, it missed the Powerball number, which was 25.
New Hampshire was one of two fortunate states where $1 million winning tickets were sold for the same drawing. The second state to celebrate such a win was Virginia, according to NH Lottery spokesperson Maura McCann.
In addition to these significant wins, an additional ticket in Florida managed to match the five white balls and secured a $2 million prize, thanks to the Power Play multiplier.
The excitement didn't stop there, as over $40,662 in prizes were won through retail tickets and the online platform, NH iLottery. Prizes ranged from $4 to $200.
As the Powerball jackpot remained unclaimed in Saturday night's drawing, it is now projected to soar beyond half a billion dollars. An estimated jackpot of $522 million, with a cash option of $252.4 million, awaits participants in the upcoming Monday night Powerball drawing. The anticipation is building as hopefuls aim for a life-changing win.
