Iowa Couple's Lottery Scratch-Off Reveals a Whopping $250,000 Prize

After trying their luck with the lottery, an Iowa couple was astounded to discover they had won a substantial $250,000 prize.

Eric Guetter, 50, and his wife Deanne purchased a few tickets at Morning Star Station in Worthington, Iowa, and scratched them at home.

When Eric revealed the winning symbol on his lottery ticket, he initially believed it was worth $25.

However, upon closer inspection, he realized that a string of zeros indicated a much larger sum.

He excitedly shared the news with his wife, saying, "Babe, we won a quarter-million dollars."

They later confirmed their win at the gas station's lottery terminal and expressed their relief at being able to pay off their home thanks to the prize.
