Illinois Lottery Players Score $1.65 Million in Monday Wins

Monday turned into a huge payday for three Illinois Lottery players, who together won an impressive $1.65 million.

The biggest prize went to a lucky player who purchased a $1 million Powerball-winning ticket at Jewel-Osco, located at 2401 N. U.S. Highway 12 in Spring Grove. The ticket matched all five white-ball numbers — 17, 21, 29, 42 and 49 — plus Powerball 7.

Big Wins Across Illinois

• $1 million: Powerball ticket sold at Jewel-Osco in Spring Grove
• $150,000: An Illinois iLottery player matched four white-ball numbers plus the Powerball
• $500,000: Another player matched all five numbers in the midday Lucky Day Lotto drawing

The Spring Grove store also got a nice bonus for selling the $1 million ticket. Jewel-Osco will receive $10,000, equal to 1% of the prize.

According to the Illinois Lottery, winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
