Hoosier Lottery Powerball Double Play ticket sold in Indiana wins $50,000
In Indiana, a Powerball Double Play ticket sold at Kroger L-762 in Clarksville has won its owner $50,000.
The ticket matched four out of five numbers plus the Powerball for the April 26 drawing. Double Play is an optional $1 add-on for a Powerball ticket and has a separate drawing with a top prize of $10 million.
The winner should keep the ticket in a secure place and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service for claim instructions. The next Powerball drawing is on April 29 with a jackpot estimated at $51 million.
Powerball is a popular lottery game played across the United States. It is coordinated by the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL), a non-profit organization that runs several lottery games in different states.
Powerball tickets cost $2 each and are sold in 45 states, as well as Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
To play Powerball, players choose five numbers between 1 and 69 and one Powerball number between 1 and 26. The drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 PM Eastern Time.
