Hamilton woman won $100,000 worth jackpot in Lotto 649,the woman who is winner will soon be $100,000 times richer than before. 

Shalon Grannum winning lottery ticket was purchased at the CNIB lottery outlet in Walmart on Centennial Parkway. 

She tells the lottery officials that she plays lottery on occasionally but picked the right time to play earlier this year.

Grannum told her father about the win.

"He is happy for me," she added.

She tends to invest most of her winning lottery prize. 

“When I realized I had won, I just stared at the screen!”, she said.
