Hagerstown man wins $100,000 in Maryland Lottery Monopoly scratch-off, the winner grabbed the big win for them and there family.
The winner bought the a Maryland Lottery scratch-off ticket while at Martin's Food Market picking up part of the family's dinner, according to the lottery agency.
"My wife sent me in to get precooked chicken for dinner," the unidentified 52-year-old man told the Maryland Lottery.
The man bought a Monopoly X50 scratch-off game at the supermarket at 18726 North Pointe Drive, north of Hagerstown, according to a lottery news release.
He claimed the prize on Friday.
He told a lottery official he was thinking of the rolling Mega Millions jackpot and wanted to get a ticket for the upcoming drawing.
