Florida Woman Wins $2 Million Jackpot on $10 Lottery Ticket

A Gainesville woman named Diane McHome has become a millionaire after winning $2 million in the 100x The Cash scratch-off game.

The announcement was made by lottery officials on Friday.

McHome, who is 57 years old, purchased her winning ticket from Southeast Gator Liquors in her hometown.

Instead of receiving the prize in installments, McHome chose to take a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,390,000.

She has not yet decided how is she going to spend her winning prize. 

The retailer that sold the ticket will also receive a bonus commission of $4,000.
