Florida Woman Wins $1M Playing Gold Rush Limited Scratch-Off Game

A Florida woman's life has been forever changed after winning $1 million in the Gold Rush Limited scratch-off game from the Florida Lottery.

Annette Hagmann, 68, bought her winning ticket at Circle K in Longwood, Florida, and claimed her prize at the Lottery's Orlando District Office.

Circle K, the retailer where Hagmann bought her ticket, will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

She opted to receive her winnings in a lump sum payment of $795,000.

The odds of winning the second-place prize were 1-in-756,000, while the odds of winning the top prize of $5 million were 1-in-2,362,500.

The Gold Rush Limited scratch-off game has 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million, with overall odds of winning at 1-in-2.65.
