Florida Lottery: Ocala Woman Claims $3.32 Million Cash Prize

An Ocala woman has officially been identified as the winner of a $5 million Florida Lottery scratch-off prize after purchasing her lucky ticket at a local convenience store.

Robin Vollmer won the top prize in the $5,000,000 Triple Match scratch-off game. Instead of receiving the full prize over time, she chose a one-time lump-sum payment of $3,319,810.

Vollmer bought the winning ticket on June 5 at Quick King Food Store #22, located at 8955 SW Highway 200 in Ocala. The store also received a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

Her identity remained private for 90 days under Florida law, which temporarily protects the identities of lottery winners claiming prizes worth $250,000 or more.

Ocala Area Sees More Big Lottery Wins

Vollmer's $5 million win adds to a growing list of major lottery prizes claimed in Marion County this year.

Other recent wins in the area include:

  • $2 million Powerball prize: An Ocala resident won with a ticket purchased at Quality Wine & Spirit on SW Highway 200.
  • $105,641 Fantasy 5 jackpot: Another player claimed the prize with a ticket purchased at Publix in Heath Brook Commons on SW College Road.
  • Multiple Fantasy 5 wins: The Publix at Grand Oaks Town Center on SW 86th Avenue has sold three separate top-prize tickets this year.

The area has seen several other major wins, including a $10 million Powerball Double Play jackpot claimed by an Ocklawaha resident, a $1 million scratch-off prize won by an Ocala woman, and two additional $1 million prizes claimed by local women.

With another multimillion-dollar prize now confirmed, Ocala continues to see plenty of exciting lottery luck this year.
