A 63-year-old Michigan man is still wrapping his head around a life-changing win after scoring a $476,728 Fantasy 5 jackpot.

• The lucky ticket was bought in Comstock Park for the Sept. 18 drawing.

• Normally, he buys just one ticket — but this time, he grabbed a few extras since “the jackpot was too good to pass up.”

The next day, he checked the results like he always does and noticed something interesting — the winning ticket came from the same store where he’d made his purchase.

“I ran to my car, pulled out my tickets, and couldn’t believe it — I was the winner!” he told lottery officials.
