Fantasy 5 ticket worth $84,000 sold in Tempe

PHOENIX — One lucky Fantasy 5 player in the Valley hit the jackpot Thursday night and holds a ticket that is worth $84,000.

The ticket was sold at a Walmart located at the intersection of Rural Road and Southern Avenue in Tempe, according to a press release. The ticket distributor will get $80000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning numbers for the draw were 3, 16, 26, 36 and 41.

Odds to win the jackpot are 1 in 749,398, according to the game’s official website, with the last ticket to hit the big prize in the daily drawing being on June 5.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, which is done by completing a Winner’s Claim Form and mailing it or bringing it to the Phoenix or Tucson Lottery office.
