Did You Win? Check Your 1,145th Lotto Ticket Now
In Korea, some Lotto winners are still sitting on millions — literally. The 1,145th Lotto draw, held on November 9, 2024, has an unclaimed first-place prize of over 3 billion won ($2.13 million). The winning numbers were 2, 11, 31, 33, 37, and 44, and the lucky ticket was sold at a lottery shop in Namdong District, Incheon.
Not far behind, a second-place prize of 72.7 million won is also unclaimed. That ticket matched the same six numbers plus the bonus number 32, purchased in Buk District, Pohang, North Gyeongsang.
Lotto winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prizes. Miss that deadline, and the money doesn’t disappear—it goes back into Korea’s lottery fund. That fund supports public welfare programs, from housing assistance and scholarships for underprivileged youth to cultural heritage preservation.
“A lot of winners simply forget about their tickets or miss the deadline without realizing they’ve won,” said a Donghaeng Lottery spokesperson. “We urge anyone holding old tickets to check them — you could be sitting on millions and not even know it!”
With just over 40 days left to claim the 1,145th draw prizes, now is the perfect time to dig through your old tickets.
