CT lottery player won more than $37K lottery prize

A Hamden resident recently won more than $37,000 on Lottery tickets that were sold in West Haven, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $12,708 on a Play4 Day ticket that was sold at Grillo’s Market at 137 Campbell Avenue in West Haven, according to Lottery officials.

The same resident also won $25,000 on a Diamond Tripler scratch ticket that was also sold at Grillo’s Market.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
